The Teachers

Teaching standards are a strength at Redehall. Many teachers have spent much of their teaching life at the school. Mrs Bateup, Headteacher said in a recent press interview "life at Redehall is too good to move away from".

Excellence for every child

Redehall School is a friendly and thriving preparatory school. Situated in Smallfield, near Horley in Surrey and Crawley in West Sussex we offer a high quality, independent education for children aged 3 to 11.

We are a charitable Private School. We believe that all children regardless of circumstance should have the opportunity of a high quality education and therefore offer a range of bursaries.

We aim to ensure our children achieve high academic standards and develop social and behavioural skills that will serve them well in life beyond Redehall. We focus not only on the 3Rs but also on the 3Cs of Courtesy, Consideration and Caring.

Technology - Dame Judi Dench IT Suite

We understand that in today's 'high-tech' world internet and mobile technology are fundamental to the way we communicate with each other, whether for business or social reasons. We therefore provide our children with the resources and time required to learn how technology will benefit them in their educational and business years ahead.

Our new IT Suite, opened by Dame Judi Dench, provides an excellent dedicated IT facilty for children to learn using the tools that have become essential to everyday life. As Dame Judi Dench knows only too well James Bond is able to achieve the impossible by having access to the latest in 'high-tech' gadgets. We can't quite match that sophistication, yet, but we're getting there!
